The Super Mario Bros. Movie Digital Guidebook, known as The Super Mario Bros. Movie Strategy Guidebook on the British English upload, is a digital guidebook for The Super Mario Bros. Movie released in 2024, which focuses on various references and Easter eggs present in the film, specifically ones based on Nintendo properties. It is 24 pages long and requires a Nintendo Account to be seen.
Contents
The book starts with an introduction, which tells the reader to use it as they are watching The Super Mario Bros. Movie. The following page shows the main characters in the film, as well as some of Bowser's Minions. The book is divided into four sections, covering Brooklyn, the Mushroom Kingdom, the Jungle Kingdom and a miscellaneous section.
Each page briefly describes a scene from the film in which a reference is present, with two accompanying screenshots, some of which show the same frame but with a red circle in the spots where the references are found. Each page also provides a concise context for the referenced subject, accompanied by a bonus fact related to the subject at the bottom.
The book ends with a page thanking the reader, asking how many references they spotted or knew about and encouraging them to find more references in the film to share with other people, followed by the logo for The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Regional differences
- In the mario.nintendo.com upload, the elements of the book are presented separately per page, meaning that the text and images are selectable on their own, while the European uploads have the elements directly compiled into one image per page.
- The color for elements such as The Super Mario Bros. Movie's logo differs between regions.
- Some fonts differ between the North American and European versions. Additionally, the North American version capitalizes page titles, while the European versions do not.
- Images are cropped differently between the North American and European versions. This is especially noticeable on the "A Fast-Food Finish" page with the Super Mario Bros. screenshot.
- The North American cover tells users to use the arrows to navigate, while the British English cover replaces it with the tagline "Hidden secrets revealed!"
- The European uploads do not show the trademark symbol on titles such as Super Mario World' and Mii.
- In the European versions, the "Introduction" and "Thanks for Playing!" pages have a bold font for the text.
- Most characters are arranged differently in the "An All-Star Cast" page, with the North American version having neither Bowser or his minions touch each other, and Toad's pan does not touch Peach.
- The North American version allows readers to go straight to any Important Location, while the European uploads do not, due to the pages being static images.
- In the British English version, "Other" is titled "Elsewhere..."
- In the European version, the final page features a copyright notice not present in the North American version.
