The desk is the place where Professor E. Gadd works on his inventions in catching ghosts. This section has two activities for the player.
The Drafting Table contains three activities for the player:
The first are the introduction of colouring-in templates with which the player could create "masterpieces" of their own. The player has to click on the monitor to access to these colouring-in templates. However, doing so only opens a website without a link on it, literally leading to nothing, leaving ambiguous how the colouring-in templates activity was. There exists an old website called "Luigi's Mansion Spook-E-Cards" which consists in Luigi's Mansion-themed e-cards with characters like Luigi, E. Gadd, Gold Ghost and a Boo. Since Luigi's e-card is the one the screen displays in the desk, this could be the website the flash game was meant to direct.
*By clicking on the monitor, the player can choose from one of four digital Flash postcards, referred to as "Spook-E-Cards", to send to friends and family via email. The available cards each depict Professor E. Gadd, a Boo, Luigi, and a Gold Ghost, respectively.
*The second activity is accessed by clicking the bin full of rolled-up paper. The player can view and print out templates based on the game, which are intended to be used to assist in coloring.
*The third activity, a photo album labeled "vacation 2001", shows some of the mansion's ghosts spending time at different places in the world, each accompanied by text expressing different feelings about their experiences outside the mansion. The photos viewable in the album are:
**A Gold Ghost loving his stay at San Francisco.
**A Purple Puncher anxious to scare people in Seattle.
**Biff Atlas spending some time at Muscle Beach.
**A Blue Twirler participating in a baseball match.
**A Boo witnessing a supposed UFO.
**The prior ghosts, with the exception of a Ghost Guy in place of the Blue Twirler, returning home to the mansion.

The second activity is a photo album that shows some of the mansion's ghosts spending some time at different places in the world, with some expressing different feelings about their experiences outside the mansion. Some of these ghosts include:
Similar to the other activities in the Lab, after a few moments of inactivity, a Purple Puncher passes by and messes with the text, making it almost unintelligible.
*Gold Ghost loving his stay at San Francisco.
*Purple Puncher anxious to scare people in Seattle.
*Blue Twirler participating in a baseball match.
*A Boo witnessing a supposed UFO.
*Biff Atlas spending some time at "Muscle Beach".

The final photo of the album shows everyone coming back to the mansion. Similar to other games in the lab, after a few moments of inactivity, a Purple Puncher passes by and messes with the text making it almost unintelligible.

The Drafting Table was an activity that was part of the Lab Flash game from the Luigi's Mansion microsite on Nintendo's North American[1] and European websites. This section of the lab serves as Professor Elvin Gadd's workshop where makes his inventions to catch ghosts. However, the main attraction is for the player to create their own "Luigi's Mansion masterpiece". There is also a photo album laying on the desk with some ghosts enjoying their vacations at different countries far from the mansion.

Gameplay[edit]

The Drafting Table contains three activities for the player:

 • By clicking on the monitor, the player can choose from one of four digital Flash postcards, referred to as "Spook-E-Cards", to send to friends and family via email. The available cards each depict Professor E. Gadd, a Boo, Luigi, and a Gold Ghost, respectively.
 • The second activity is accessed by clicking the bin full of rolled-up paper. The player can view and print out templates based on the game, which are intended to be used to assist in coloring.
 • The third activity, a photo album labeled "vacation 2001", shows some of the mansion's ghosts spending time at different places in the world, each accompanied by text expressing different feelings about their experiences outside the mansion. The photos viewable in the album are:

Similar to the other activities in the Lab, after a few moments of inactivity, a Purple Puncher passes by and messes with the text, making it almost unintelligible.
