Plack Beach is a location in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and its remake. It is east of Cavi Cape and south of Dimble Wood. The area's name is a play on dental plaque, a thin film of bacteria and fungi on the surface of teeth that can promote tooth decay. True to its name, the area features various structures shaped like cavity-riddled teeth, and many foes in the region are based on dentistry-related subjects such as teeth or dental drills. Many tooth-like structures with gray chips in them border the area. These chips give a plaque-like impression, hence the area's name. The fad Squid Fit first appeared here.
Bowser first comes through here in the beginning of the game. Bowser then meets Broque Monsieur, who is stranded on an island. He pulls the island to the main land with the unknown-to-him help of Mario and Luigi who stimulate his arm muscles. Broque rewards Bowser with the Vacuum Block and teaches him how to use the Vacuum technique. Bowser encounters and fights the Sea Pipe Statue that was brought to life by a Fawfulcopter. After the statue is defeated, palm trees grow to block Bowser's path and the statue starts squirting water, unlocking the Pump Works. Starlow sends Mario and Luigi to investigate the Pump Works. Mario and Luigi eventually make it to the Flame Pipe and fight the Scutlet that was blocking the fire's flow. Starlow then tells Bowser to call her "Chippy", and then Bowser burns down the trees that were blocking his path. He meets again with Broque, who explains that his dog, Broggy, was being disobedient and needed to be taught a lesson. Bowser battles Broggy and wins. Broque and Broggy leave, saying to visit them in Dimble Wood, where they own a shop.
Mario and Luigi later explore Plack Beach, meeting and solving puzzles for Kuzzle, one of which rewards them with the Spin Pipe attack, as well as battling Chakron and procuring his Star Cure.

Prima Official Game Guide description[edit]
- "Bowser steps out of the dank and dreary Cavi Cape and onto the white sands of Plack Beachm ready to make a beeline for his castle and save it from Fawful's brutal assault. However, many monsters stand between here and there, such as the multi-segmented Toothys. The beach isn't just a haven for beasties, though. In addition to treasures, Bowser will also meet the affable Broque Monsieur. This square-jawed fellow has a great prize for Bowser if he can just get Broque out of a rather tricky predicament. It will be a major test of Bowser's strength—and will require that the Koopa King rely on Mario & Luigi for a little help, whether he knows it or not."
- "With Bowser locked up and out of commission, Mario and Luigi must take point on the mission to stop Fawful. The pair of heroes must slip back out of Bowser via the Pipe Yard and set out for Plack Beach to discover the perch of the last Star Sage. Getting that last Star Cure requires a detour into Dimble Wood, though, where the Bros. are separated by the local wildlife. Although the Bros. are most powerful fighting together, individually thay are still forces to be reckoned with." (visit by Mario and Luigi)
