“Welcome to our sweet village! The Queen rules our land!”
Bee, Super Mario Galaxy 2

Honeyhop Galaxy is a galaxy located at World 4 in the game Super Mario Galaxy 2. The level revolves around the use of the Bee Mushroom. Bees are found throughout the level and teach Mario on how to use the Bee Suit. The level also features honey walls, which Mario can traverse as Bee Mario. Queen Bee is also found in this galaxy, as are many Choppahs and Octoguys.

Planets

NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, all names are unofficial.

Starting Planet

A fairly big planet. There are a lot of water ponds in this galaxy, and several enemies such as Octoombas in them. There are also Choppahs that fly around honeycombs. It has a cloud with Floaty Fluff on it. Mario can either fly over to the Queen Bee Planet in Bee form or use the Floaty Fluff. Popping the balloons is optional.

Queen Bee Planet

This planet is very similar to the Queen Bee planet seen in Super Mario Galaxy, as it also includes a water floor that spouts a waterfall below. There are enemies surrounding it, with Queen Bee at the top. There are five Silver Stars scattered around this planet.

Missions

The Sweetest Silver Stars

The player begins the level on the Starting Planet. They first have to grab the Bee Mushroom in order to progress through the rest of the level. At the end of the main planet the player must grab onto a Floaty Fluff so they can get to the Queen Bee Planet. The player will have to explore the Queen Bee Planet and find five Silver Stars, most of which require the Bee Mushroom to collect. The first Silver Star is located between two fountains and the second is located on top of a flower at the very left of the planet. The third Silver Star is located between two Water Shooters and the fourth is in between two walls near the right side of the planet. The final Silver Star is found on the back of the Queen Bee. After all the Silver Stars are found, the Power Star will appear. The Life Mushroom is very helpful in this mission due to the many Flipbugs and Octoguys found within the mission. There is at least a Bee Trap found below a Coin and near a Bee Mushroom.

The Chimp's Score Challenge

After receiving a letter from the Chimp, the player can do a Stomp Challenge in the Queen Bee planet. The player must defeat enemies to score 10,000 points or higher in 120 seconds. If the player completes the task the Chimp will reward them with a star. There are many enemies near Queen Bee that can be stomped on in a row.
