Flip Tiles[citation needed] are yellow platforms that appear in the Toy Time Galaxy on the 8-bit Mario–Luigi planet as an obstacle in Super Mario Galaxy. When stepped on, they start flipping downwards. They continue to turn indefinitely when they are triggered.
While the planet returns in Mario Squared Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2, Flip Tiles are replaced by generic solid yellow blocks.
