Super Mario Galaxy
In Super Mario Galaxy, Eye Beamers only appear in Dreadnought Galaxy, where they appear on the same planet as the Ocean Small Turtles. They are indestructible enemies that emit laser beams from their eyes than shoot directly down on the planet, damaging Mario or Luigi if he touches them. The side opposite to their eye is flat, allowing the player to jump on it and use it as a platform. Some Eye Beamers are stationary while others move, which can allow the player to cross gaps. They initially appear facing away from the planet, but once the water is raised, they turn towards it. Aside from theis planet, the same lasers appear elsewhere in the galaxy, but without the eye-shaped generator.
