Toad refereeing Yoshi and Tails competing in Singles in the opening of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games for Wii
Singles in the opening of the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games

Table Tennis is an Event class that appears in several instalments of the Mario & Sonic series, featuring various table tennis events. The Table Tennis class first appeared in the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games with only the event Singles, and then reappeared in the Nintendo DS version with its own variation of the event. In the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, the class returned with the event Table Tennis - Singles, and later appeared again in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. The Nintendo 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games includes the event Table Tennis (Doubles), but instead includes it in the Court & Field Sports class rather than a specific one for table tennis. Due to the lack of classes entirely in Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, both the Wii U version's Table Tennis and the Nintendo 3DS version's Table Tennis are not included in a Table Tennis class.
