A Spring Ball is an item in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, its remake Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 and Yoshi's New Island. A Yoshi can jump on top of it, then jump again to be propelled high into the air with a boosted jump. The Yoshi can jump even further up if the player times the jump right when the Yoshi contacts the Spring Ball. Some can also be released by Winged Clouds.
