Template:Species-infobox An Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brother[1] (alternatively Amazing Flying Hammer Brother[2]), also shortened A. F. H. Bro[3], is a special variety of Hammer Bro found in Super Mario World and its remakes. An Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brother hovers around on a platform composed of two gray Rotating Blocks with a wing on each side that swings back and forth. This enemy tosses hammers from his swooping platform, attempting to attack Mario. He can be defeated by hitting him from below, from the side with a projectile attack, or on top. Hammer Bros. actually never appeared in Super Mario World, but this enemy and the Sumo Bros. did.

When the Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brother is defeated, the flying platform remains and continues on its original flight path, allowing for an extra platform on which to stand; however, if the platform's rider is defeated before the platform itself begins to move, it will not have a set path and instead stays in place. In the game's credits, an Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brother appears, yet the gray Turn Blocks are replaced with gray Blocks.

One Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brother appears in the Nintendo Adventure Book Dinosaur Dilemma, capturing the remaining dinosaurs in Dinosaur Island while they, Mario and Yoshi are looking for food near Lake Trilobite. The Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brother threatens to capture Yoshi as well, but is scared off by Mario.

Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brothers make a reappearance in Super Princess Peach. A sleeping "Calm" variation called a C. A. F. H. Bro also shows up.

An Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brother makes a cameo in the Nintendo Monopoly.
