With caution, the monkeys should try to hop on the villain and defeat him. However, this is a risk, as they may land right into a gap and fail the level. After a rather large gap is crossed, another Klank will come. As they jump over each gap, the Kongs should try and beat him. When they cross another gap, the Klank in third place will drive by. There is a lot of gaps in this area, so the monkeys need to be careful as they try to attack this enemy. If this Klank is defeated by the time the heroes bounce over the gap after the letter N, another one will appear, and in second place. When the Kongs begin the level, they must walk down the alleyway and hop into the Skull Cart. Then, when the green light flashes, they must start the race. If the player holds left on the control pad, they will go backwards and hit a barrel, giving them an extra speed boost. Quickly, the monkeys must dash over the track and defeat the first Klank they see, watching out for gaps that they can fall into. Soon, they will get to the enemy in eighth place, and he can be easily passed if they jump over him when going down a large hill. Right after that, the next Klank will be seen going up another hill. Without falling through gaps, the heroes need to beat him and find the next Klank. As they try to beat this one, they must be very cautious, as there are a few large abysses on the way. But, once he is knocked out, they will get to the racer in fifth place. The Kongs need to defeat him and jump over a few more gaps, until the next Klank comes by. The group needs to beat him without falling through a gap, just as for the other racers. Eventually, they will cross a few more gaps, until they travel up a large hill and pass the Star Barrel.

From this point, they need to get down the hill and meet the next Klank. There are a few wide abysses as they Kongs try to beat him, so they need to be careful. After they get through a short tunnel, the monkeys will get to another Klank, who is in second place. After they jump over or defeat him, the racer in first should appear. With caution, the group needs to beat him without falling into a gap. If they can do so, they will win a special prize, and then enter a large tunnel. After that, their cart will mysteriously disappear, and the heroes can then exit the level.
