Para-Goombas are Galoombas with parachutes that only appear in Super Mario World. They descend slowly from the sky on parachutes, and once they land, they act like normal Galoombas. A kind of Bob-omb known as Para-bombs also appear, which also use parachutes.
Para-Goombas also make a minor appearance in Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, where they are found at the end of the World-e level Rich with Ropes.
