The Rainbow Cruiser[1] is a six-winged airship that appears in Rainbow Ride in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. It can be reached by riding the magic carpet to the right of the course's starting point, then riding the carpet to the right of the spinning platforms, and then riding the carpet to the left at the end of the second carpet's path. Once at the Rainbow Cruiser, the player must jump over platforms and Falling Blocks to climb onto it. A heavy wind blows through the ship, pushing the player to its stern. Two Bob-ombs (one replaced by a Goomba in the DS version) and a Lakitu are on the deck, and a cannon is on the stern. The Power Star for the first mission, Cruiser Crossing the Rainbow, is on the ship's bow. A 1-UP Mushroom can be found on the tip of the bowsprit.
