This planet is shaped like a giant skull and is surrounded by bones. If Mario spins on the eyes of the skull, he will get three Star Bits. There is a single pipe which takes Mario to the Spooky Speedster Planet. The background environment seen in this area is based upon that from Ghostly Galaxy.

This planet is a large maze-like race course where Mario races the Spooky Speedster for the second time. Through the underground tunnels there is a river of flowing ghosts, as well as so-called springs, fans and many skeletons (after the finish line).

Missions

Racing the Spooky Speedster

Springs that get in Boo Mario's way.

To get the Power Star, Mario must race another time the Spooky Speedster. The race is very different this time, because he must be Boo Mario in order to participate. Walls obstruct Boo Mario's path as he descends, and they are only passable when he is invisible; there are also fans that blow Boo Mario to make him go faster. There are some ? Coins that can turn on extra fans if touched. Four springs appear in this area to make the way harder. This level is primarily side-scrolling. After beating the Speedster, a Power Star will appear.
