Bink resembles a skeletal version of [[Donkey Kong]]. He also throws barrels in his minigame, which is an obvious reference to the ''[[Donkey Kong (game)|Donkey Kong]]'' game. Bink also eats [[Banana]]s when he is bored. Bink received a drastic redesign in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions]]'', no longer resembling Donkey Kong. Instead, Bink's appearance is the same as the rest of the skeleton sailors of the S.S. Chuckola.

Mario and Luigi cannot replay this minigame until they get to the Little Fungitown arcade, where Bink also reappears.
