Template:Item-infobox The Rainbow Cruiser[1] is an airship that appears in Rainbow Ride in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. The player can reach it by riding the magic carpet to the right of the course's starting point and then riding the carpet to the left at the end of the first carpet's path. Once at the Rainbow Cruiser, the player must jump over platforms and Donut Blocks to climb onto it. A heavy wind blows through the ship, pushing the player to its stern. Two Bob-ombs (one replaced by a Goomba in the DS version) and a Lakitu are on the deck, and a cannon is on the stern. The player must talk to the Bob-omb Buddy at the top of the maze directly ahead of the course's starting point to be able to use the cannon. The Power Star for the first mission is on the ship's bow, although the Star is on the very end of the bowsprit in the DS version. If the player climbs to the top of the ship's mast, they will receive a 1-Up Mushroom. The player can use the cannon to reach a platform with a Chuckya and the Power Star for the sixth mission.

In the Super Smash Bros. series, the Rainbow Cruiser appears in the stage Rainbow Cruise, which is based on Rainbow Ride.

In Mario Party, the Rainbow Cruiser houses the board Luigi's Engine Room.
