A Crazed Crate is a beige box with the same worried face on each side of it. If [[Mario]] grabs a Crazed Crate, the box will bounce around three times in the direction Mario is facing, with the [[plumber]] holding on. The [[Jump|jumps]] will get progressively higher, and after the last jump, the crate will explode and a few [[Coin]]s will appear. Crazed Crates appear in courses such as [[Big Boo's Haunt]] and [[Shifting Sand Land]]. The player should try it once, as it might be helpful.

A Crazed Crate is a beige box with the same worried face on each side of it. If Mario grabs a Crazed Crate, the box will bounce around three times in the direction Mario is facing, with the plumber holding on. Many also appear in a Mario Party mini-game called Box Mountain Mayhem where a player has to break all crates to get Coins; however, if he or she gets a Crazed Crate, the player will not get a Coin and may be unable to move for some seconds. They are called Whomp Boxes here.

They return for a cameo in the Mario Party 2 board, Bowser Land.
