The '''Rec Room''' is a special area found inside the [[Peach's Castle|Mushroom Castle]] in ''[[Super Mario 64 DS]]''. This room, located on the second floor to the right wing, features a drawer of colored boxes, every one containing a [[minigame]] that [[Mario]], [[Yoshi]], [[Luigi]], and [[Wario]] reveal as they catch the [[rabbit]]s running around the castle, holding the [[key]]s that open the drawer's boxes, after talking to [[Toad (species)|Toad]] in that room. A Toad looks after the room and hosts the minigames whenever the player wants to play in the Rec Room. Each player character has nine minigames. The Rec Room is a special area found inside the Mushroom Castle in Super Mario 64 DS. This room, located in the right wing of the second floor, features a drawer of colored boxes, each one containing a minigame that Mario, Yoshi, Luigi, and Wario reveal as they catch the rabbits running around the castle who hold the keys that open the drawer's boxes, and then talk to Toad in that room. The latter looks after the room and hosts the minigames whenever the player wants to play in the Rec Room. Each player character has nine minigames. Two are unlocked from the start, and the other seven are unlocked by catching rabbits, making a total of 36. The room contains other things, such as a piano, some Koopa shells, blocks, Bob-omb toys, Stars, and a mushroom-styled table near the entrance of the room. Most of the minigames are reused in New Super Mario Bros. There is also the painting of the course Sunshine Isles, and in the back of the Rec Room is a door to another room, which contains the entrance to the Goomboss Battle portrait, where one of Luigi's rabbits is located.
