Totemglobins are a related species of Emoglobin found exclusively in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey. They are composed of five Emoglobins that are stacked vertically, and can block anyone from passing on. Whenever they speak, they speak one at a time or all at the same time. Only one is found in the game, residing deep in the Airway. There, they block Mario and Luigi from the Warp Pipe leading them closer to the runaway Dark Star as it tries to collect DNA from Bowser. They will only allow the Mario Bros. to pass if they hit all eight blocks scattered below in numeric order under a timer. To aid them during this challenge, they are allowed to use a Liftoglobin, due to the fact that the blocks are scattered across the entire area. If the bros. are able to complete the challenge before the time limit is up, they will be allowed to pass, but if they fail, they will have to try again until they are successful.
