Tayce T. is a cook who lives in Toad Town and is in fact a Toad herself. She appears only in Paper Mario but Nintendo follows the 'lets-make-some-items-only available-through-cooking' concept and makes three other cooks with different names: Zess T., in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Saffron and Dyliss, in Super Paper Mario. After Mario finds the Cookbook for Tayce T. (hidden in Shy Guy's Toy Box), she can cook using up to two items per recipe.

Trivia

The name 'Tayce T.' is a pun on the word tasty, a word used to describe food.
The Master is Tayce T.'s brother.
