Korogari Ice Blocks are obstacles found in Yoshi's Woolly World and its port Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World. As their name suggests, they are indestructible blocks of ice with toothy grins that roll on one side at a time in a set path, similar to Tox Boxes and Grumblumps. They have yellow buttons for eyes. Yoshi can stand and walk on top of Korogari Ice Blocks, transforming his feet into ice skates in the latter case, but the ice reduces his traction. If Yoshi is caught underneath a block, he is instantly defeated. Korogari Ice Blocks only appear in Snifberg the Unfeeling's Castle.
Korogari Ice Blocks also come in small and large sizes. Small ones move faster than their normal-sized counterparts, and appear in the second section of Snifberg the Unfeeling's Castle, where Yoshi must use them as platforms to proceed. Big ones, on the other hand, move slower and cause tremors upon landing. These appear first in the secret area above the Shy Guy-spawning Warp Pipe, and again near the end of the level, where they fall in the background from the top of the screen and roll toward the screen.
In Duplicitous Delve, there are sliding blocks in red and blue that look very similar to Korogari Ice Blocks, known as Ugoku Leather Blocks.
