The emblem

The Lucky Cat Cup is a cup that appears in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of the Booster Course Pass DLC and exclusively features classic courses. It is one of two cups in the first wave, alongside the Golden Dash Cup. The emblem of the cup is the Lucky Bell from Super Mario 3D World. Excluding the Extra Cups in Mario Kart: Super Circuit, this is the first cup in the Mario Kart series to feature multiple classic courses from the same game in a single cup, as it features both Tokyo Blur and Ninja Hideaway from Mario Kart Tour; notably, both of these courses are themed around Japan, matching the Japanese theme for the cup, a maneki-neko.
