In Paper Mario: The Origami King, Mario can discover Collectible Treasures throughout the areas he visits. For most of them, Mario has to perform some sort of task to get access to a chest containing said treasure.

| In the third area, this collectible treasure is found on the higher ground, next the third bed of thorns. To access it without damage, Mario needs to be under the effects of Superstar won from a leaf memory game accessed later in the area.
