Reminder
This reminder has been overturned by the MarioWiki staff. The original reminder can still be viewed.
|
Please stop adding false information on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it.
|
Alex95 had to revert this edit, this edit, and this edit for you because those edits consisted of you adding false information. I'd give you a warning since adding false information is a Level two offense as per the Warning Policy, but I'm a nice guy. Mari0fan100 (talk) 14:55, 9 March 2019 (EST)
I played the fight with trio and King Bob-omb was not involved with them at all. The only time King Bob-omb appeared in this game was in the beginning with the four Minion Quest captains.
Although I haven't done all post-game missions so if there is a time King Bob-omb fights with the trio please let me know. Sorry about this. Best Fitness Friends (talk) 16:02, 9 March 2019 (EST)
- See this video. King-Bob-omb appears with the trio. Doomhiker (talk) 16:09, 9 March 2019 (EST)
Those are the Minion Quest captains in that video Best Fitness Friends (talk) 16:22, 9 March 2019 (EST)
- My mistake then. However, when removing information you need to provide why you removed the information, preferably with sources. Doomhiker (talk) 16:24, 9 March 2019 (EST)
What's the best way to do that? Best Fitness Friends (talk) 16:29, 9 March 2019 (EST)
- By using edit summaries if the source is not needed in the page itself, such as with wether or not King-Bob-omb fights with the Elite Trio. If the source is needed on the page then follow the guidelines on MarioWiki:Citations. Doomhiker (talk) 16:32, 9 March 2019 (EST)
I overturned the reminder as it turns out the information they were fixing was correct. However, this didn't really call for a reminder in the first place. A simple heads-up and asking for an explanation would've worked. 17:54, 9 March 2019 (EST)
Paper Mario series page
Hi, on the character section as i commented. They are not significant protagonists to be included regardless of a subsection. If you feel differently otherwise, discuss this on the series talkpage.
L151
Well, most of the other series pages include supporting protagonists, and thats what the partners are, even if a few of them are introduced quite late in their respective games. Best Fitness Friends (talk) 13:32, March 18, 2019 (EDT)
Contractions
Please note that contractions such as "can't" cannot be used unless they are in things such as quotes, so can't should be cannot. Doomhiker (talk) 08:02, March 30, 2019 (EDT)
Got it, but for Cheep Cheeps their bio in Bowser Jr.'s Journey says "they can't leave the water" so that's why I wrote it like that Best Fitness Friends (talk) 08:05, March 30, 2019 (EDT)
- Only use contractions in quotes, and the contraction cannot be used in the paragraph because it did not use a quote, it was normal writing, so the contraction cannot be used regardless, even if you are describing what the bio said in a non-quote manner. Doomhiker (talk) 08:08, March 30, 2019 (EDT)
- Quoting the bio means using the {{quote}} or {{quote2}} template to directly state what it says, just saying that a bio says a thing will not allow you to use a contraction. Here is an example of a quote:
Template:Quote2
Doomhiker (talk) 08:21, March 30, 2019 (EDT)
Ok, I'll leave it as this then. It has only been 3 weeks today since I started editing stuff here Best Fitness Friends (talk) 08:25, March 30, 2019 (EDT)
Editing a full page

Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser Enemies
Before going any further, I've moved the category to Category:Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser Enemies since you intend to keep a list of exclusive enemies. You'll notice the category links you're adding are red. Mario JC 06:54, May 2, 2019 (EDT)
Keep in mind too that categories themselves need to be categorised, as I've done here and here. When adding them to articles, the game-specific categories should go in alphabetical order (e.g. Category:Bowser Jr.'s Journey Enemies first, then Category:Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story Enemies). See MarioWiki:Categories for more details. Mario JC 08:40, May 2, 2019 (EDT)
Sure thing, this is my first time working on catagories after all Best Fitness Friends (talk) 19:43, May 2, 2019 (EDT)

One or more pages that you have recently created have been deleted or marked as a stub article ( Creased). Please consider the following ideas and suggestions when expanding/creating an article:
- Before saving a new page, be sure that you have put as much effort and information in the article as you can.
- Make sure that the page follows all of the rules that are outlined in the Manual of Style.
- Perhaps upload a few images that can be used on the article.
Please don't take this notice as a dejection; this is just an informative notice and we encourage you to keep contributing.

This is something you should incubate in your sandbox first to grab information on each individual clothing article. Create another article like this and you may receive harsher warnings. (T|C) 17:11, May 24, 2019 (EDT)
Is the sandbox a new thing? How do I make one of those? Best Fitness Friends (talk) 17:21, May 24, 2019 (EDT)
- You can create your sandbox here. Also, here's a copy of the page you were working on in case it gets deleted:
Clothing is equipment that increases Mario's, Luigi's and Bowser's stats and sometimes comes with added special effects. In ''Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey'', Mario and Luigi have five types of clothing: boots, gloves, socks, overalls and accessories. Bowser has four types: shells, fangs, rings and bands.

I don't know what you mean by a "major" boss. All bosses, by definition, are major enemies.
But you are engaging in an edit war and it needs to stop. Take it up with the other user or on the subject's talk page instead of rapidly changing the content. 11:57, June 3, 2019 (EDT)
- Also, please do not demand your edits remain unchanged or call out other users. 12:05, June 3, 2019 (EDT)
- And please do not swear at other users. It's rude. Doomhiker (talk) 12:07, June 3, 2019 (EDT)
Alright, I'm sorry. I can often get anger issues. My apologies to Owencrazyboy9 too Best Fitness Friends (talk) 12:08, June 3, 2019 (EDT)
Statistics
Those are intended to function as an infobox of sorts. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 19:29, June 5, 2019 (EDT)
I see, might create actual infoboxes in their place Best Fitness Friends (talk) 19:47, June 5, 2019 (EDT)
Splitting off a section
To split an article, all you have to do is cut and paste the section you want to split, and maybe do a bit of retrofitting to help it stand on its own. There's no wiki function for it, so it must be done manually. You can go directly to the redirect by clicking on the "(redirected from <redirect name>)" prompt at the top of the article. If you have any more problems with this, please don't hesitate to ask. -YFJ (talk · edits) 09:19, June 21, 2019 (EDT)
The only thing is I'm using an iPad so would I need to be on Desktop mode to do most of these things? Mario Sakuraba (talk) 09:32, June 21, 2019 (EDT)
- I think you would have to use desktop mode, unfortunately. But, seeing as you successfully split the article, good job! -YFJ (talk · edits) 11:08, June 21, 2019 (EDT)
