The Parachute is a glider that appears in Mario Kart 8. It offers an accleration stat boost but the glider lowers the weight stat. It looks like a parchute with stripes of several different colors. It shares its stats with the Cloud Glider, Peach Parasol, Bowser Kite, Parafoil, Plane Glider, and MKTV Parafoil.

- Most often in wars, parachutes similar to this glider, are used. The hole in the middle was to aid stability in the air so parachutists could fall in a straight line onto the ground, however in Mario Kart 8 stability (handling) of this parachute glider remains at 0.
