There is a ninja standing in front of a building. Various arrows fly up in the background, then fall down in the foreground. The player must maneuver the ninja (using the control pad) into the space between the arrows, otherwise, the game will be lost. In level one, the gap is rather large. In level two, there are more arrows, and therefore, the gap is smaller. In level three, there are even more arrows, and the space is very small, making it difficult to avoid the arrows.

Arrow Space reappears as a microgame in the WarioWare, Inc. stage of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
