Trivia
- The Egg Cup, Bell Cup, Crossing Cup, and Triforce Cup are the first Mario Kart cups to contain both Nitro and Retro courses. Though, this is the only cup with one retro track instead of two.
- This is so far the only cup in Mario Kart 8 to not have a gliding section in any of its tracks.
- Along with the Triforce Cup, none of the tracks in this cup feature any underwater sections.
- The back of the Egg Cup trophy states, in all capital letters, "PROFESSIONAL KART RACING DISTINGUISHED DRIVER". This is shared with the Triforce Cup, Crossing Cup, and Bell Cup.
