Mildes[1] are small, pink ball-like creatures that first appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its Game Boy Advance version. They march around in lines and are most common in Marching Milde's Fort. Like balloons, they will pop if a Yoshi steps on one, the blast knocking back any enemies that are close to them. A few of them are very large and have to be Ground Pounded to be defeated.

Mildes in Yoshi's New Island appear only in Furious Fred de Fillet's Castle and Spray Day Mayday.

Profiles[edit]

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island / Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3[edit]

  • Shogakukan guide: 踏むとプチッとはじけて、近くの敵をはじぎ飛ばす。[2](When you step on it, it bursts with a pop, sending nearby enemies flying away.)
  • Player's Guide: Seemingly always underfoot, these pink plodders look mighty pleased with themselves.[1]
  • Shogakukan guide (Game Boy Advance version): ふむとプチッと音を立て、近くの敵を少しだけはじぎ飛ばす。[3](When you step on it, it makes a popping sound and sends nearby enemies flying away a little bit.)

Yoshi's New Island[edit]

  • Shogakukan guide: 色はピンクでかわいらしい外見をしているが、れっきとした敵。踏むだけでも倒せるが、簡単に食ベられるので、タマゴの数を増やすために利用したい。[4](They are pink in color and look cute, but they are actually enemies. You can defeat them by simply stepping on them, but since they can be easily eaten, you should use them to increase your egg supply.)
