A Lucky Bell[1] (called the Lucky Cat power-up[2] by the Prima Official Game Guide) is an item introduced in Super Mario 3D World, resembling a bronze jingle bell (or possibly konguro'o) with eyes. It turns Mario into his Cat form with a red collar with a bronze bell resembling the power-up added to it; this version of the form lets him transform into Lucky Cat Mario, very akin to the Tanooki Suit's Statue form, except it gives him coins while falling, with more being given the higher he falls, and makes him invincible; however, it does not protect him against lava or being crushed. It is considered an upgrade of the Super Bell, as later in the game, it replaces the Super Bell in the remixed courses.
