Flying Mechakoopa
A Flying Mechakoopa from Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
First appearance Super Mario Bros. Wonder (2023)
Variant of Mechakoopa

Flying Mechakoopas[1] are enemies in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. They are improved Mechakoopas developed by Bowser to defeat Mario, but despite their advanced appearance, they use the same windup technology.[1] They fly via a propeller on their underside, with the windup key being moved to the back of their heads. When they spot the player, they attempt to chase them orthogonally, though still exhibit the same behavior as normal Mechakoopas when stomped on. They appear in Deep Magma Bog Flying Battleship and High-Voltage Gauntlet, as well as the playable end credits.

They can also interact with electricity, which requires the player not to jump on them until the electricity disappears.
