Lava Ghosts[1] are enemies that only appear in Yoshi's Story. They are large, long Spark Spooks with gaps in their flames that form haunting facial features. Lava Ghosts are rare, appearing in only one level—the Cavern level Blargg's Boiler, where they are seen leaping out of the lava in a broad arch. Whenever they jump out of the lava, they make an ominous, low-pitched moaning sound.
