- “It means I get to hit you with the greatest show of all time... I mean that literally. I'm gonna hit you now. Get ready for the most amazing, groundbreaking show ever produced! It's time to get this KnuckleFest started! Gwahahaha!”
- —Wonder Bowser, Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Fire Knuckles are hazards in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. They only appear in two courses: KnuckleFest Bowser's Blazing Beats and The Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage. Fire Knuckles resemble Bowser's arms and punch forward every several seconds, retracting into their portholes after around a second to prepare for another cycle. Players that touch them will take damage. During the Wonder Effect of KnuckleFest Bowser's Blazing Beats, all Fire Knuckles punch to the beat, with the ones near the Wonder Seed attacking at a faster pace. Only three Fire Knuckles appear in The Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage, at the beginning of the course. Wonder Bowser Jr. enlarges them with Wonder Power, but his plan backfires as he and the two Big Goombas accompanying him are knocked out by them.
Larry uses a crystalline variant during his battle in Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park in an attempt to crush Mario at certain health thresholds. Mario has to climb them to hit Larry's crystal casing from below.[1]
