"Bonus Game BGM"[1] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario World, where it plays in the bonus game minigame, Switch Palaces, and 1-Up Rooms. It is a playful arrangement of "Ground BGM" from the same game in the key of F major.

Super Mario Maker / Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS / Super Mario Maker 2 "Bonus Game BGM" plays when the "Bonus Music" sound effect is triggered in Super Mario World-style courses.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder "Bonus Game BGM," now titled "Break Time! Tunes 1" in the Nintendo Music app, plays in the Break Time! level Wonder Token Tunes.

In Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World, an arrangement of "Bonus Game BGM" plays in the bonus game minigame, Switch Palaces, and 1-Up Rooms, just like the original game.

In Super Mario Galaxy, an arrangement of "Bonus Game BGM" plays when collecting the notes in the Deep Dark Galaxy secret room in the mission "Bubble Blastoff." This arrangement returns in Super Mario Galaxy 2, where it plays when collecting the notes in the Puzzle Plank Galaxy, and Super Mario 3D Land for several sets of notes.

Super Mario Odyssey[edit]

In Super Mario Odyssey, an arrangement of "Bonus Game BGM" arranged by Shiho Fujii, titled "Above the Clouds" in the game's Music List and the Nintendo Music app, plays in some challenge areas.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder[edit]

In Super Mario Bros. Wonder, after clearing the course Break Time! Wonder Token Tunes, the ending thirteen notes of "Bonus Game BGM" are played on the glockenspiel as coins appear at the corresponding note positions on the staff, with the final note being a Wonder Seed.

Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix[edit]
