A Pause Block is a Block found in Super Mario Run that stops the character from moving when they are standing on it. The timer will also stop when a character is on a Pause Block. If the player taps the screen, the Pause Block will send the character in the direction shown, and the timer will resume. If the Pause Block points to the right, the character will do a roll and continue running after the player taps the screen; if the Pause Block points diagonally up and to the right, the character will jump after the player taps the screen.
