Loch Nestor[1] is a porcupinefish enemy encountered in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 and Yoshi's New Island. They only appear in stages where Yoshi must morph into a Submarine. When Yoshi touches one, he briefly sinks to the bottom. If hit by a torpedo, Loch Nestors simply grow larger and chase Yoshi, but explode after being hit multiple times. In the original game, they take a total of three hits to defeat; in Yoshi's New Island, they only need to be hit twice.
Their name is a pun on the male given name "Nestor" and the Scottish lake "Loch Ness", which is the home of the legendary Loch Ness Monster. The lips on the Loch Nestor are exactly the same as the ones on Piscatory Pete.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
- Shogakukan guide: 攻撃すると怒って突進してくる。魚雷3発で倒せるが、水の中では逃げるに限る。[2](When you attack it, it gets angry and rushes at you. Three torpedoes can defeat it, but in the water it is best to get away.)
- Player's Guide: Dangerous as a depth charge to submarine Yoshi. Flush him out with your endless supply of torpedoes.[1]
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3
- Shogakukan guide: 攻撃するとおこって突進する。魚雷3発で倒せるが、深追いせず、逃げたほうがいい場合も。[3](When attacked, it will get angry and rush forward. It can be defeated with three torpedoes, but it may be better to get away instead of going after it too hard.)
Yoshi's New Island
- Shogakukan guide: 潜水艦に変身して水中を進むときに出現する。魚雷を当てると、怒って体当たりをしてくる。接触されてタイムロスになる前に、もう1発魚雷を当てて倒そう。[4](They appear when you transform into a submarine and proceed underwater. When you hit it with a torpedo, it gets angry and attacks you. Before you get hit and lose time, hit it one more time with a torpedo to take it down.)
