Dr. Vent's Frozen Oddity is a Spark quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Pristine Peaks. After the heroes clear out the first Darkmess Tentacle, they can find Dr. Vent on the opposite side of the mountain. With him is a Spark known as Zephystar. Dr. Vent has gone insane after being alone for three days, and asks the heroes to help him remove an intruder in his lab. The heroes discover that a Darkmess Puddle is the intruder, and they clear it out in a battle. After the battle, Zephystar joins the heroes on their adventure, and a Planet Coin is obtained.
Format[edit]
The insane doctor[edit]
The heroes can find Dr. Vent after clearing out the first Darkmess Tentacle on Pristine Peaks, and he is located on the opposite side of the mountain. A Spark known as Zephystar is with him, which he calls his assistant. He is insane, and yells out nonsense, before regaining his sanity and asks the heroes to remove an intruder in his lab. Zephystar guides them to the intruder.
The lab[edit]
Inside Dr. Vent's lab, the heroes move blocks using Beep-0's Wave Power, and travel through pipes as they make their way throughout the lab. There are several Bob-ombs wandering around the lab, which can be fought against in battles. The heroes eventually find a room where a Darkmess Puddle is, surprising Zephystar.
Catch Your Breath[edit]

The Darkmess Puddle must then be fought in a battle known as "Catch Your Breath", where a Darkmess Gate must be destroyed by using a Bob-omb. The heroes must activate several Stone Masks to create wind tunnels to transport Bob-ombs to the Darkmess Gate, and blow it up. After the Darkmess Gate is destroyed, the battle is won.
Zephystar joins the heroes[edit]

After the Darkmess Puddle is cleared out, Dr. Vent apologizes to the heroes for his behavior earlier, before accusing them as being spies and yelling at them to get out of his lab. Zephystar then tells the heroes that Dr. Vent has been alone for three days, surprising Beep-0. Zephystar then joins the heroes on their adventure.
