Rayman is the protagonist of Ubisoft's Rayman franchise, debuting in the 1995 Atari Jaguar video game Rayman. Rayman's 2006 multi-platform party game Rayman Raving Rabbids spawned its own Rabbids subseries which would eventually crossover with the Mario series in the Nintendo Switch titles Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle did not feature an appearance from Rayman, though he is set to be added to Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope as a downloadable playable character.[1]

Super Smash Bros. series[edit]

Rayman has made cameo appearances in the Super Smash Bros. series, appearing as a trophy in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and as a spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope[edit]

On September 10, 2022, Rayman was confirmed to be releasing as a playable character in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope as downloadable content.[1]
