- “We are approaching Pristine Peaks ! Nothing warms the heart and awakens the senses like its crisp, fresh snowfalls... ...and the sound of hot cocoa mugs clanking together over hearty laughter at spirited outdoor fondue parties!”
- —Beep-0, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Pristine Peaks is the second planet the player visits in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, accessible after having collected two Purified Darkmess Energy Crystals from the previous planet Beacon Beach. There are twelve Memories that the player can unlock. Mario and his friends recruit Rabbid Rosalina in the Winter Palace.
History[edit]
Upon landing in Pristine Peaks, the heroes discover that the planet has a massive blizzard, caused by a Darkmess Tentacle on top of the mountains. The heroes must then make it up to there to stop it. The heroes find the Spark Decibel, who gives Beep-0 the Wave Power, allowing the heroes to destroy certain obstructions. The heroes make their way up the mountain, going into caves, and clearing out Darkmess Puddles along the way. They eventually reach to the summit, where the Darkmess Tentacle is. The heroes cleanse the Darkmess Tentacle, rescuing the Spark Electroid and obtaining a Purified Darkmess Energy Crystal in the process. The blizzard is then stopped, with some of the ice melting and the sky clearing up. Beep-0 then states that the worst has passed, only for Edge to say that the real storm has just begun.
After the heroes get rid of the blizzard by cleansing the first Darkmess Tentacle, they discover that the next Darkmess Tentacle is inside the Winter Palace. When the heroes reach the entrance, they find a frozen Captain Orion, the warden of Pristine Peaks. They free him using Beep-0's Wave Power, and he tells the heroes that "the girl" is trapped inside the Winter Palace. The heroes, along with Captain Orion, then enter inside, unaware that Midnite is watching them. When the group enters the Winter Palace, they discover a Darkmess Puddle. The heroes cleanse it, and rescue the Spark Pyrogeddon. They then travel into the ballroom, where two statues must be activated. While the group activates both statues, they encounter Midnite, who taunts the group. After both statues are activated, the heroes solve a constellation puzzle, opening up the way to a staircase to the library. Midnite is encountered again, and the heroes to quickly get up the stairs, entering the library. When the group reaches the library, they find the Darkmess Tentacle, as well as Midnite. She tells the group that her and Edge used to be friends, causing confusion. She then enters the Darkmess Tentacle, and the heroes also enter. "The girl" is revealed to be Rabbid Rosalina, and Captain Orion is captured by Midnite. Rabbid Rosalina fights alongside the heroes to defeat Midnite. After Midnite is defeated, Edge spares her, and then Midnite retreats. Rabbid Rosalina then obtains a Purified Darkmess Energy Crystal for the heroes, and Captain Orion is relieved to see her safe. He then tasks her to join the heroes on their adventure to stop Cursa, to which Rabbid Rosalina reluctantly agrees. Beep-0 also tells her that they are looking for Rosalina, and says that her like likeness is uncanny. With two Purified Darkmess Energy Crystals, the WM ARC allows the Heroes to warp to the next planet, Palette Prime.

Memory bios[edit]
- THE PATH TO THE MASKED MOUNTAIN
Rabbids on Pristine Peaks are many things, but "easily daunted" is not one of them. While it is always winter there, extreme weather can cause mountain trails to become inaccessible. Hence, Rabbids have little faith in them, instead forging their own paths to the summit.
Even a visit to Madame Bwahstrella's is uncertain - a place with a reputation for informing customers that they are "DOOMED" year-around.
- GALACTIC ATLAS: PRISTINE PEAKS
The natural splendor of the mountains of Pristine Peaks casts a large shadow over the planet, including the Winter Palace - a smaller, but no less ambitious monument to its creators.
A thermogravimetric analysis of its exterior reveals that the star-shaped iconography, as well as the Rabbid ears adorned with crowns, were added more recently - possibly by a Rabbid attempting to show its devotion to Rosalina.
Musical themes[edit]
"Ice-Bound Planet, Pt. II" is the background music theme for Pristine Peaks during the storm, and "Warmth Amongst the Snow" once the storm clears. "Clash in the Outer Galaxy" plays during regular and "enemy hunt" Quest battles.
