“We are on approach to Palette Prime Icon for Palette Prime in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope . Known for the warm orange and yellow foliage of its woodlands, its ambrosial pumpkin spice... ...and uplifting poetry! I've been wanting to visit for ages.”
Beep-0, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Palette Prime is the third planet the player visits in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, accessible after having collected two Purified Darkmess Energy Crystals from the previous planet Pristine Peaks. There are fourteen Memories that the player can unlock. Mario and his friends recruit Bowser in Paletteville.

History

When the heroes arrive on Palette Prime, they encounter the Warden, Woodrow. He tells the heroes that the Spellbound Woods have lost their color due to a Darkmess Tentacle, and that another Darkmess Tentacle is in the center of Paletteville, causing chaos. JEANIE also states that "something else" is causing chaos in Paletteville, and that the bridge connecting to it is destroyed, and the only way to reach Paletteville is by a secret passage inside of Woodrow's house. When the heroes arrive at Woodrow's house, a Medician blocks the way, and must be cleared out in a battle, rescuing the Spark Glitter in the process. The heroes are then able to enter Woodrow's house, as well as the secret passage inside, leading to an underground tunnel. However, a chasm makes progress impossible, but Twinkle returns and grants Beep-0 the Scan Power, allowing him to see invisible objects, as well as creating bridges over gaps. The heroes then move on, clearing out a Darkmess Puddle on the way, and find the exit, leading them to Paletteville. The heroes reach the Darkmess Tentacle, but find Bowser in a battle with Bedrock, the second of Cursa's Spark Hunters. Bedrock tosses Bowser into the Darkmess Tentacle, and the heroes must save him and defeat Bedrock. Bowser is provided a spare weapon known as the Bowzooka, and the heroes, along with Bowser, defeat Bedrock, as well as obtain a Purified Darkmess Energy Crystal. Bedrock then escapes with the help of Daphne, and she gets away. Back in Paletteville, Bowser slashes at the Darkmess Tentacle, destroying it. He then states that he is trying to reclaim his army from Cursa, and joins the heroes to get his army back, as well as to defeat Cursa.

The heroes reach to the entrance to the Spellbound Woods, but must remove a Darkmess Puddle to move on, and rescue the Spark Zephyrquake in the process. The heroes then enter the Spellbound Woods. Once inside, JEANIE finds the Darkmess Tentacle causing the loss of color, inside the Abandoned Well. If the Off-Color Quest is done first, Twinkle will arrive to give Beep-0 the Scan Power to help navigate through the woods. Along the way, another Darkmess Puddle blocks the way, and the heroes clear it out in a battle. The heroes then reach the Abandoned Well, where the Darkmess Tentacle retreats into. The heroes then enter the Abandoned Well; once inside, the heroes descend to the bottom, and find the Darkmess Tentacle. In the battle, the heroes must clear out all of the Darkmess Taproots, and use an elevator to go down. They then clear out the Darkmess Tentacle, obtaining a Purified Darkmess Energy Crystal, rescuing the Spark Electrogeddon, and restoring color back to the Spellbound Woods, along with the animals returning to the woods. With two Purified Darkmess Energy Crystals, the WM ARC allows the Heroes to warp to the next planet, Terra Flora.

GALACTIC ATLAS: PALETTE PRIME
Palette Prime has been voted "Most Romantic Vacation Planet" and "Best Engagement Photoshoot Location", yet its beauty hides a mysterious side to it that harbors many secrets. Luckily, Beep-0's revealing powers, inherited by the Spark Twinkle, have allowed us to see beyond the veil. I did not expect any single planet to curry favor with me, but I feel a strong connection to Palette Prime.

Musical themes

"Kaleidoscopic Canopy" is the background music theme for Palette Prime, Paletteville, and Spellbound Woods once the Off-Color Quest is cleared. "Interstellar Invaders" plays during regular and "enemy hunt" battles.
