A Bridge Too Fear is a battle in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Palette Prime. It is part of the Main Quest The Fallen King. The name of the battle is a pun on the phrase "a bridge too far", which means a step or act that is regarded as too drastic to take.
To reach to Paletteville, the heroes must go through a secret passage underneath Woodrow's house. A Medician is blocking the bridge to reach to the house, however, and must be defeated in a battle. This battle marks the first appearance of Medicians, which can heal and protect their allies, as well as inflicting the Shock Super Effect with their projectiles. The heroes must defeat all of the Medicians to win the battle. After the battle is won, the Spark Glitter joins the heroes on their adventure.
Layout[edit]
The battlefield consists of 3 main platforms with many Jump Panels scattered across the battlefield. The middle platform has high ground, along with 4 groups of three Goombas each around the high ground. A Medician is close to the south side of the high ground, and a Flamin' Stooge is behind cover, behind the high ground. Ramps connect the middle ground to the left and right platforms, which are of complete higher ground than the middle.
The left platform has a Medician, a group of 3 Goombas, and a Flamin' Stooge, while the right platform has a Medician with 2 groups of three Goombas each.
Scattered around the battlefield are small platforms that have Jump Panels, which allow the heroes to traverse across the battlefield easier. The heroes start on a small platform, with a Jump Panel to access the main platforms.
Battle[edit]
During the battle, indestructible Darkmess portals will appear, containing groups of three Goombas each. After the Medicians are defeated, the battle is won, and Glitter joins the heroes on their adventure.
