Generator Investigator is a Side Quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Barrendale Mesa, specifically inside the Windmill area. In this Quest, the heroes must return a fuse to a circuit to power up a generator. The Quest Worksite Hazard must be completed before this Quest, because the Darkmess Puddle blocks the path to a pushable block.

Behind a gate, the heroes can spot a fuse that can be picked up. To open the gate however, the heroes must push a nearby block onto a switch, opening the gate. The block is invisible, and can only be revealed by using Beep-0's Scan Power. After the gate is opened, the heroes can pick up the fuse and place it in a nearby circuit, thus completing it, and powering up the generator. A treasure chest will appear afterwards, and the heroes can open it. Upon opening it, the Quest is complete, and the heroes are awarded a Planet Coin.
