Loch Nestor[1] is a porcupinefish enemy encountered in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, its Game Boy Advance version, and Yoshi's New Island. They only appear in stages where Yoshi must morph into a Submarine. When Yoshi touches one, he briefly sinks to the bottom. If hit by a torpedo, Loch Nestors simply grow larger and chase Yoshi, but explode after being hit multiple times. In the original game, they take a total of three hits to defeat; in Yoshi's New Island, they only need to be hit twice.

Their name is a portmanteau of "Nestor," a male given name, and "Loch Ness," a Scottish lake which is the home of the legendary Loch Ness Monster. The lips on the Loch Nestor are exactly the same as the ones on Piscatory Pete.
