Balloons, not to be confused with Baron von Zeppelins, are platforms that Yoshi can ride on in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. They only appear in one level, Don't Look Back!, where they come in different colors. Stepping on one of them causes it to stop its natural rising, and using them too long results in their disappearance. They reappear with the same function in Yoshi's Island DS, and appear in Windblown Wilderness and Superhard Acrobatics.
