List of Yoshi's Woolly World pre-release and unused content

This is a list of pre-release and unused content for the game Yoshi's Woolly World.

Early builds

Announcement

• During levels, the playable character Yoshi starts out being made only of some yarn threads in his shape; however, the player can't swallow Shy Guys to lay eggs using his tounge. Instead of doing so, the player can swallow them to turn Yoshi into a three-dimensional, amigurumi crochet form.

E3 2014 trailer and demo

• The text for the beginning and end of the levels were originally made out of ribbons.
• Several of the levels in the game either have undergone either minor or major changes:
  1. Yarn Yoshi Takes Shape!
  2. Sponge Cave Spelunking
  3. Fluffin' Puffin Babysitting
