Bowling Goonies roll around the level for their primary method of attack. They can be defeated with a ground pound. They first appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3.
Although Yoshis can eat Hefty Goonies, they cannot eat Bowling Goonies.
They also appeared in Yoshi's New Island.
