The Bonus Ring is a special equippable accessory item that can be obtained in Starbeans Cafe in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake. As with all special items obtained in there, Professor E. Gadd shows up to taste a new type of brew that has not been made before. E. Gadd leaves behind the Bonus Ring if this is the second time the player has brewed a unique type of coffee, after the Greed Wallet. If a brother equips the Bonus Ring, both brothers will receive an EXP bonus if they win the battle without taking any damage. In the original game, the EXP they would normally earn is doubled, while in the remake, an extra 50% is added to the normal amount.
