Golas (also spelled Gohlas, Goras, and Ghoras, and alternatively called Sols) are mass-produced, sea urchin-based Badniks created by Dr. Eggman that first appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Their only appearance in the Super Mario franchise is in the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, in which they take on their appearance from Sonic Adventure and are found in only two events: the Individual and Team versions of Dream Snowboard Cross. Touching a Gola in these events will damage the player.
