Due to a minimalistic crediting style used by [[Nintendo]] at the time, she is often mistakenly credited by the Western audience for being the voice of [[Toad]] in the Japanese version of [[Mario Kart 64]] and the first three games of the [[Mario Party]] series.  The actual voice actress, as stated in the Japanese credits for [[Mario Kart 64]] and the [[Mario Kart 64 on Club Circuit]] album, is [[Tomoko Maruno]] (not to be confused with Tomoko Maruo, the Japanese voice of Zangya from Dragon Ball Z).
