Fire Tickle[1], also known as the Dash[2], is a special move in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its 3DS remake, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. It is taught by the Jellyfish Sisters to Mario and Luigi at their Relaxation Room in Gwarhar Lagoon. After Mario and Luigi sign up for a massage session, Gigi and Merri accidentally trigger their Hand Powers, which then motivates them to teach the brothers how to use the Thunder Tickle and its counterpart, the Fire Tickle. When Mario uses his Firebrand ability while he is behind Luigi, he sets Luigi's back on fire, causing the two of them to dash forward faster than normally possible. This technique can be used for reaching certain areas under a limited time frame, passing through fast-moving obstacles, and knocking over or pushing heavy objects, including Nokottasu (Big Koopa Troopas in the remake). The dash can be immediately stopped by moving in any direction other than forward or by pressing B Button.
