"Electrodrome"[1] is a musical theme composed by Shiho Fujii that appears in Mario Kart 8, where it plays in the course of the same name. The theme internally uses eight audio channels to enable playing frontrunning and location-dependent variations. This theme is tied with the themes of other courses including 3DS Music Park for having the most audio channels.

Mario Kart 8Edit

While driving on parts of the course resembling electronic instruments, a variation of the theme titled "Electrodrome (Antigravity Zone)" on Nintendo Music is played instead, accompanied by a visual effect. While driving in sections with Shy Guys and Koopa Troopas, a variation of the theme featuring clapping and Shy Guy vocalizations is played instead. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place. An arrangement of "Electrodrome" is incorporated into "Staff Credits," which is a medley of various tracks from the game.
