- —Baby Bowser, Yoshi's Story
Ghosts,[1][2] also known as worms,[3][4] are a type of enemy in Yoshi's Story. They are flying green snake-like enemies encountered during Baby Bowser's boss fight. During the battle, the ghosts appear flying in waves across the top of the screen, with Baby Bowser jumping between them. While on top of a ghost, Baby Bowser cannot be hit by eggs, as they bounce bounce off the ghost's body instead. Instead, a Yoshi has to either throw eggs at the ceiling (causing falling spikes to drop down) or explode the eggs in front of Baby Bowser's face.
A ghost appears in the Yoshi's Story segment of the manga Mario no Bōken Land.
